Yes, we know it can feel less natural to just start chatting with somebody in the digital space, compared with the physical event – whether it is an old or new acquaintance. This prize, to an unlimited number of socially active delegates*, is our way of encouraging you to take the networking plunge!
It can be you who propose the meeting or you can accept an invitation from another delegate – in either case you score a point to help both yourself and your colleague win your copy. Have you noted how many delegates say they hope to meet new people at the event? Now we all have to help each other get there!
The Brella conference platform has built-in functions for one-on-one video meetings. Google Chrome is the recommended browser for this. You may need to fiddle a little with your computer’s integrity settings to permit your browser’s access to mic and camera – but it is worth it!
Everybody who had three meetings or more will be contacted via e-mail.
Copenhagen Food – Stories, Traditions and Recipes, by Trine Hahnemann, was 2019’s winner of the Guild of Food Writers’ Best International/Regional Cookbook award.
*) Employees of the event’s sponsor companies are not eligible to win the book, though.
