Netherlands-based Zanders, founded in 1994, is an advisor on treasury issues for corporations including British American Tobacco and Akzo Nobel. The firm has just opened offices in Stockholm and Copenhagen, hoping to expand its market presence here, notes The Global Treasurer.

Newly appointed head of Zanders’ Nordic region activities is René Andersen, recruited from Copenhagen’s Deloitte office where he has been the director of its treasury and risk advisory for two years.

Since earlier, Zanders has offices in Antwerp, Zurich, London and New York, in addition to its headquarters in The Netherlands’ Bussum.
