Former Avanza Star Claes Hemberg to Aptic

Nordic fintech Aptic snatches two big names – Claes Hemberg and Désirée Lerider, as new members of the board.

At an annual meeting of shareholders in October this year, Claes Hemberg and Désirée Lerider was nominated board members of Aptic. The motivation behind their nomination is the competence and experience they can contribute with in terms of branding and global expansion, according to the company.  

Claes Hemberg was previously hired at Avanza Bank as a savings economist. He has previously guided Swedes through the financial crisis in 2008, funds, mortages etc. Today, Claes is an independent author on the subjects of economics, energy and data. Nonetheless, he is an active board member, investor and coach to CEOs

Désirée Lerider is CEO and founder of the advertising agency Factum. She is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in marketing and business development. Earlier she has been assigned board member of Almi Väst and the local Swedbank board of Skövde.  

”By being a board member, I can contribute with a holistic development focus for the brand Aptic and also support their business on their expansion journey. This role is also about evaluating how Aptic can enhance their focus on customer value and form stronger customer relationships”, stated Désirée Lerider, in a press release.  

Aptic is a Nordic fintech company in an aggressive growth phase. The firm has developed an advanced platform for financial solutions and modules for payment transactions, travel contracts, invoice purchases, debt collection and account and credit management.
